What’s Scary To You?

Topics: Successful Thinking

I have a goal of reaching 500 RSS subscribers by September 30th. Will you help me make it happen?

Scary to me is the idea that I would be at exactly the same place in six months.

  • I’d weigh exactly the same.
  • I’d be earning exactly the same.
  • I’d be doing the same things every day.
  • I’d know all the same people.
  • I’d have seen the same places.

I don’t know about you but I love making progress.  I enjoy change. I like new.

That motivates me.

What about you?

Oh Kelly, I don't have to add anything to that list. You have me pegged. Very scary to think I won't be moving forward in my work, life, love, or anything. You know what Einstein said “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results.” I have made it my goal to break out of my comfort zone and stop doing the same things every day. Thanks for the reminder. Change is good!

    Kelly,

You said it-not making progress! The idea of not being productive leaves me unsettled. I think the saying about the pain of regret being worse than the pain of attempting and failing is true.

You’re so right. Keisha, I rarely regret the things I’ve tried.

Hi Patti! The problem with our comfort zone is that it’s so darned comfortable! LOL!
