I am reading a book right now that has challenged me to write down what I believe to be my Ultimate Purpose. (I’m not going to tell you it’s name yet because I’m only a few chapters in.)
I fell asleep last night thinking about it and I woke up with it on my mind.
What is my Ultimate Purpose?
Of course there are a few obvious statements. “I’m here to honor God and serve others.”
But the author is challenging me to go deeper and get more specific. I’m going to be giving it some serious thought and prayer over the next few days and I will come back and share.
I’m curious, what is YOUR Ultimate Purpose?

That’s deep. I’m not good at digging that deep…seems like I always come up with the same generic answers everyone else comes up with. Good luck with your self-discovery.
I think that beyond honoring God we don’t have one ultimate purpose. I believe we have seasons, and a job to do in each season that is the vehicle by which we serve our one purpose; to honor and glorify God.
What a great observation! I totally agree with you. I believe that my ultimate purpose is to help others and within that I do go through seasons and help others depending on where I am in life. What I find amazing is that I always seem to be in the right place
