Back in November I set a goal to double my regular monthly income in six months. I was regularly bringing in $5000 every month so my goal was to reach $10,000.
I declared myself a ‘Hungry Woman of Internet Marketing’. I delved into a new niche and created a few new income streams. To put it in a few words: I worked my behind off!
I was so excited to see May come to an end so that I could measure my results. I pulled reports as fast as I could and crunched the numbers and….I fell short of my goal.
But – I have to tell you, I still had a grin on my face because I came pretty darned close!
My May total income is $9,074.13
That is an 82% increase in income in just six months and I’m super proud of the achievement. I did fall short of my goal, but in no way can I be bummed out about it.
May wasn’t just a high point, I’ve seen my income increase steadily over the six months. The income sources I’ve developed are solid and I have every reason to expect consistent numbers in the months to come.
In the interest of being totally realistic, yes – this is a gross income number. I have expenses (around 25%) to pay out of this income. These are payments to my assistants, project partners, affiliates, business tools, etc. I didn’t ‘make’ $9000+ for myself – but I did certainly boost my personal income significantly.
There it is. That’s my report. Thanks for your encouragement over the last six months.
What’s next? Well, I’m not embarking on another huge growth goal but I am focusing in on hitting that $10,000 mark on a consistent basis and will continue to look for ways to make more while working smart.
