 Internet Radio
and Podcasting changed Kelly McCausey's
business and it ended up changing her life.In early 2002 Kelly turned to the internet to help earn extra money providing web and graphic design services. Already employed full time, she wasn't making enough to make ends meet. As a single Mom, Kelly wanted to earn more without sacrificing the amount of time she had to be home with her son. It was in 2003 that she first learned about internet radio. She became so enamored with web audio that she launched a short audio newsletter for work at home moms. The newsletter was only five minutes a week and quickly grew listeners. This got her thinking about how to bring more audio content to the web. Work at Home Moms Talk Radio launched in November 2003. The show has grown to over 1250 weekly listeners and is celebrating it's 200th show and fourth anniversary this fall. Kelly is now a busy internet marketing coach, helping other moms build profitable web based business that give them the freedom to enjoy their families through a private membership site and one on one consulting. She has also recently acquired Moms Talk Network and is in the process of merging all of her projects together into a rich online environment for moms to enjoy. |
